Skip Gardiner has spent his entire professional career in the construction industry. As one of the founding members of Patuxent Companies, Skip’s focus has always been on providing excellent customer service while pursuing qualified growth opportunities for the company within the aggregate industry.

A graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in Construction Science, Skip is an active member of a variety of the leading industry associations and is a Corporate Partner with Clemson’s Construction Industry Advisory Board.

David Kirchner

Chief Operating Officer

David has worked for the family of Patuxent Companies for over 25 years. David worked in field operations of the then family run parent company, Gardiner & Gardiner General Contractors. The addition of Patuxent Materials, Inc. in 1987 widened David’s focus to include aggregate sales and dispatch.

David became field operations manager of Patuxent Materials’ recycling facilities and quarry operations and in 1992, was promoted to Vice President of Operations.

In 1999, David became joint owner of the newly formed company, Patuxent Roll-Off, LLC, which broadened the services Patuxent Companies could provide their commercial and residential customers.

Josh Luiza

Chief Financial Officer

Josh joined the Patuxent Companies as Chief Financial Officer in 2022, coming from WD Lab Grown Diamonds where he was the Director of Finance. Prior to WD, Josh spent 7 years at Under Armour in various Finance and Accounting Roles.

Josh attended the University of Maryland, graduating in 2012 with degrees in Finance & Accounting. Josh returned to graduate school in 2017 at Loyola University of Maryland and completed his MBA with a focus in Finance in 2019.

Josh enjoys spending his weekends at the beach or in the mountains with his wife Alexa, and can often be found on the golf course. Josh currently resides in Annapolis, MD.

TIMOTHY CLOUD

VICE PRESIDENT - SALES

Tim has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He joined Patuxent Materials in 1994 to increase sales and to assist in the development of overall company growth.

Tim graduated from Severn School in Severna Park, MD and received his BA in Political Science from Washington College in Chestertown, MD.

Tim has been involved with a variety of industry trade groups: Associated Builders and Contractors, PWCA, Associated Utility Contractors, and the Maryland Transportation Builders and Materials Association.

Kim Hannon

Roll Off SALES

Kim has worked with Patuxent Companies since 2002 when Kim started out as a sales representative for Patuxent Roll-Off. A few years later Kim started working with Patuxent Materials customers. The roll-off division started to expand their services over the years and Kim moved back to the roll-off division full-time. Kim is currently working part-time as customer relations in the Roll-Off accounting department.

Kim has two boutiques, Ophiuroidea “the O” on the Eastern Shore in St. Michaels and Kent Narrows, which keeps her busy when she’s not working at Patuxent. Kim loves to travel, going to concerts, races and O’s games.

Sam Gardiner

Operations

Sam has been with the Patuxent Companies since 2008, working during summer and winter breaks while still in school. During that time, he worked in dispatch, sales, field operations, and fleet maintenance.
After graduation he began his career with Ole Miss Football, working on their staff for 5 seasons. During his tenure at Ole Miss, they ranked top 25 nationally three times and received their first top 10 final ranking since 1969.
He re-joined the Patuxent Companies in 2019 and currently works with all company operations. Sam is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a BBA in Business Management & currently resides in Annapolis, MD.

Todd Walter

PMI Dispatch

Todd is entering his 28th year with the Patuxent Companies. Todd was one of the first drivers for Patuxent, and has worked in the recycling, dispatch, general office and sales departments in his long career here.

Currently, Todd is a senior dispatcher and finds communicating with customers in every facet of the construction trades to be his real passion.

Todd graduated from Chesapeake High School and successfully completed Dale Carnegie Sales Training.

On weekends, if Todd isn’t on the water, he’s honing his handyman skills working on a wide range of projects around his home.

Larry has been with Patuxent Companies for over 25 years. Before joining Dispatch, Larry drove for Patuxent Roll-Off as well as Patuxent Materials.

Rick has been with Patuxent Companies for over 20 years. Before joining Dispatch, Rick drove trucks, operated Heavy Equipment and worked scale houses.
